We consider ensuring the right to personal data protection a fundamental commitment of the Arhitext design Foundation, and, as a result, we shall dedicate all necessary resources and efforts to process your data fully according to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“General regulation regarding data protection” or “GDPR”), as well as any applicable legislation on the Romanian territory. As one of the essential principles of this legal framework is transparency, we have drafted this document wishing to inform you about the manner in which collect, transfer and protect the information you offer us when you fill in the registration form on our website,

What are the categories of personal data we process?

We process the personal data directly from you, so you have control on the type of information you offer us.

By filling in the registration form for the Critical Discourses Open Call or by sending us a project for the Thematic Exhibition Open Call, you are sending us: name, first name, the name of your architectural office, the city where the office is located and your email address.


Which are the purposes and grounds of the processing?

We shall use your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. For the provision of the services of the Arhitext Design Foundation for your benefit.

– To participate in the Creation retreat

– To communicate information about the Creation Retreat.

– Ensure support services, and also give answers to your questions and solve any type of problem related to the Creation retreat


  1. For the improvement of our services

We can invite you to fill in satisfaction questionnaires after the completion of the Retreat


  1. For marketing.

We want to keep you updated about out activity. For this, we can send any type of message containing general and theme information by email.


  1. For the defence of our legitimate interests.

There can be situations in which we shall use or send information to protect our rights and activity. These can include:

– Protection measures for the website and the users of the Arhitext Design Foundation’s website against cybernetic attacks;

– Measures for the prevention and detection of fraud attempts, including transmitting information to competent public authorities;

The general ground for these types of processing is our legitimate interest to defend our activity, being understood that all the measures we take guarantee a balance between our interests and your fundamental rights and liberties.

We currently store and process your personal data on the Romanian territory.

Also, you can exercise the right to complain to the competent supervision authority or to refer the matter to the courts of law. As applicable, you can also benefit from the right of erasure of your personal data, the right to restrict the processing of your data and the right to data portability.
